Craig G. Burkhart, MD, MPH
Dr. Craig G. Burkhart is presently on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Dermatological
Society and the Northwest Ohio Academy of Medicine. He has been Editor-in-Chief
of the Journal of Dermatology and Allergy for the Practicing Physician and served
on the editorial boards and as the consultant for numerous journals, as well as
editorial consultant to the PIER module electronic resource website for the American
College of Physicians. He has obtained numerous research grants, with five in head
lice research alone, and he owns full patents in the areas of head lice, ear wax
and acne. Dr. Burkhart is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University
of Michigan where he completed residencies in internal medicine and dermatology.
Dr. Burkhart later obtained a public health degree from the University of Toledo.
