Robert W. Verdugo, BBA

Mr. Robert Verdugo is well suited to contribute to the research, development, growth and commercialization of
Topaz Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Verdugo has a wealth of human and animal health pharmaceutical experience.
His past roles include marketing and operations for various healthcare brands in the U.S. and abroad
as an Executive Director for Merial Limited and a Senior Director for Merck & Co. He also founded Xtra
Marketing Resource LLC, a consulting firm specializing in strategic and product planning. Prior to his
pharmaceutical career, Mr. Verdugo was a Vice President at Bozell Advertising where he managed
government and consumer product businesses. Mr. Verdugo earned his BBA from the Mendoza College
of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
