Reid S. McCarthy, BA, MBA
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
In 2006, Mr. Reid S. McCarthy joined Topaz Pharmaceuticals, bringing many years of experience in new business development
with a specialty in bank and equity financing. Prior to joining Topaz Pharmaceuticals, Mr. McCarthy served as
Founding General Partner of Atlantic Senior Development (ASD) LLC, a real estate company specializing in housing development
for low-income seniors. Throughout his career, he has held several executive finance positions, including Chief Financial
Officer of Graphco Technologies Inc., a start-up company specializing in the development of Internet security and biometric
software; and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Greenhouses Inc., a venture capital backed agribusiness
company. Mr. McCarthy began his career in international finance and money center banking with Chemical Bank (now J.P.
Morgan Chase). He holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA
in International Finance from New York University.
