Robert Weisskoff, PhD
Board Member – Director
Dr. Robert Weisskoff joined the Board of Directors of Topaz Pharmaceuticals in December 2007, bringing over
20 years of experience in academia and bioscience. Prior to joining Topaz Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Weisskoff held various senior
roles in Research and Business Development at both pharmaceutical and medical device companies. In his academic
career, Dr. Weisskoff was Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, and he served on the
faculty of the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences Technology (HST) Program. He performed research at Massachusetts
General Hospital as the Associate Director of the MGH-NMR Center. Dr. Weisskoff has authored over 100
peer-reviewed scientific papers and is an inventor on 5 US patents. He received his PhD in Physics from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Columbia University.
