Robert D. Casale, Esq.
Non-Executive Chairman
Mr. Robert D. Casale was appointed to the Board of Directors for Topaz Pharmaceuticals in April 2008. Mr. Casale
brings extensive marketing and business development experience to our team. Currently he is the Chief
Executive Officer of Scerene Healthcare Inc. Previously, Mr. Casale was Chief Operating Officer of Adams
Respiratory Therapeutics (now Reckitt Benckiser). He joined Adams in 2004 as Vice President, Business
Development and Consumer Marketing and was subsequently named Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and
Development Officer in 2005 and Chief Operating Officer in October 2006. He began his career in 1983 at a
Wall Street law firm, and he joined the legal division of Warner-Lambert in 1986. Mr. Casale received his
BA from Rutgers College and his JD (with honors) from Rutgers Law School.
